Planning Commission Meeting

Members Present: Charlotte Carnes, Colbi Johnson, Hunter Collins, Brenda Reynolds and Dan Cypert

Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM.

1. Public Comment

Chris Pliemann owns property just north of the RV park on SE Campbell. He purchased the                     land in 2020 when they were not annexed into the city. The property is now zoned C-3. They                 purchased the property with the intent of living and building a business on the same                               property. He is concerned that now he cannot use the property as he originally intended.

Phillip Williams 515 N Cato Springs Road. He wants to live on the property and run his                             business but also build another house on the property by subdividing. He was informed that                 he could not subdivide and build a house on his property because he is zoned C-2.

 

2. Administrative Review

PC discussed the need to clarify issues with C-1/C-2 code wording for “benefit to the tax base                of the city,” to “benefit to the sales tax base of the city.”

Carnes motioned to adjourn. Johnson seconded. Meeting adjourned at 7:14 PM.
