Minutes of the Greenland City Council December 14, 2015

Meeting called to order at 7:03

Those in attendance: Mayor Groom, Stephanie Sharp, Katherine Hudson, Danny Dutton, Kendra Croddy, Lisa Thornton(arrived after minutes approved), Bill Yoes, Mark Myers, Justin Reed, Chief Ricker, Danny Wright and various guests.

Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Hudson to approve the November minutes. Motion passes 5-0-1 with Reed abstaining.

Chief Ricker presented court and police report.

Building Inspector report: 1 permit pulled.

Motion by Thornton to approve the treasurer’s report, 2nd by Dutton. Motion passes 7-0.

Mayor Groom reported that Wiles Road has a 30 ft section that needs major work. After discussion of options motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to approve spending up to $3,000 to do the work. Motion passes 7-0.

Resolution 12-14-2015 (2016 Budget)- Motion by Thornton to read resolution 12-14-2015 by title only, 2nd by Reed. Motion passes 7-0.  Mr. Wright read it. Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Yoes to approve Resolution 12-14-2015. Motion passes 7-0.

Sewer Update: Options must be approved by city of Fayetteville.
Storm Water Memorandum of Understanding. After discussion motion by Thornton to authorize the mayor to enter into an agreement with Regional Planning, 2nd by Dutton. Motion passes 7-0.

2015 in review by the Mayor.

Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Thornton to adjourn at 7:45. Motion passes 7-0.
