Minutes of the Greenland City Council February 8th, 2016

Meeting called to order at 6pm. Those in attendance: Mayor Groom, Stephanie Sharp, Eric
Bryant, Katherine Hudson, Danny Dutton, Kendra Croddy, Lisa Thornton, Bill Yoes, Mark Myers,
Justin Reed, Chief Ricker, Danny Wright and various guests.

Motion by Reed, 2nd by Dutton to approve January’s council minutes. Motion passes 7-0-1 with Thornton abstaining.

Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to approve January’s treasurer’s report. Motion passes 8-0.

Planning Commission report: No meeting.

Building Inspector report: No activity.

Chief Ricker presented the court and police report.

Sewer Upgrade report: Sent out RDQ’s for engineers. Deadline is February 29th.

Park Update: Weathered out. Waiting on dryer ground to install exercise equipment.

Footbridge update: Waiting on easement.

265 fire hydrant: After discussion it was decided to have the fire department go out and assess the situation and give us their input. Motion by Reed to table until the March meeting, 2nd by Dutton. Motion passes 8-0.

Resolution 02-08-2016A- Amending 2015 budget. Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to read

Resolution 02-08-2016A by title only. Motion passes 8-0. Mr. Wright read it. Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to approve Resolution 02-08-2016A. Motion passes 8-0.

Resolution 02-08-2016B- Sewer contract. Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Reed to read Resolution 02-08-2016B by title only. Motion passes 8-0. Mr. Wright read it. Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Reed to approve Resolution 02-08-2016B. Motion passes 8-0.

Resolution 02-08-2016C- Planning Commission Appointments. Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Dutton to read Resolution 02-08-2016C by title only. Motion passes 8-0. Mr. Wright read it.

Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Reed to approve Resolution 02-08-2016C. Motion passes 8-0.

Motion to Adjourn by Thornton, 2nd by Bryant. Motion passes 8-0.

Meeting adjourned at 6:45.
