Minutes of the Greenland City Council March 14, 2016

Meeting called to order at 6pm
Those in attendance: Mayor Groom, Stephanie Sharp, Katherine Hudson, Danny Dutton, Kendra Croddy, Lisa Thornton, Bill Yoes, Mark Myers, Justin Reed, Danny Wright, Gary Ricker and various guests.

Motion by Thornton to approve the February minutes, 2nd by Reed. Motion passes 7-0.

Motion by Thornton to approve the February treasurer's report, 2nd by Reed. Motion passes 7-0.

Planning Commission report presented by Brenda Reynolds

Building Inspector report presented by the mayor. Brad did two inspections.

Court and Police report presented by Chief Ricker.

Sewer Update: Bob Wise has presented plans for a 96 housing development. The first group of 18 houses will be on Septic.

Park Update: Hoping to get exercise equipment installation started Friday.

Fire Hydrant on 265: Motion by Reed to table until April meeting, 2nd by Thornton. Motion passes 7-0.

Prosecutor Expense: One time every quarter a special prosecutor because of conflicts. A request has been made by the special prosecutor to be paid for this. Motion by Thornton, second by Dutton to amend the 2016 budget by $2,250 to cover this expense. Motion passes 7-0. Mr. Wright will draft a resolution.

Engineering Firm: Carole Jones and Brian Teague are the new engineers for the city.

Miscellaneous information:

-We received our cash back for the Sam's Card for the year 2015 of $202.27.

-We are pursuing TAP grants.

-ARML Summer meeting is June 15-17, 2016

Motion to adjourn at 6:43 by Thornton, 2nd by Dutton. Motion passes 7-0.
