Minutes of the Greenland City Council March 13, 2017

Meeting called to order at 6pm. Those in attendance: Mayor Groom, Stephanie Sharp, Eric Bryant, Larry Forrester, Danny Dutton, Beckey Center, Lisa Thornton, Bill Yoes, Pat Lindabury, Justin Reed, Chief Ricker, Danny Wright and various guests.

Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Bryant to approve the February’s council minutes. Motion passes 7-0- 1 with Thornton abstaining.

Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Bryant to approve the February’s special meeting council minutes. Motion passes 6-0- 2 with Thornton and Yoes abstaining.

Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Bryant to approve the February’s treasurer's report. Motion passes 8-0.

Brenda Reynolds presented the planning commission report.

Mayor Groom presented the building inspector report: 2 electrical inspections done.

Chief Ricker presented the court and police report.

Ozark Regional Transit- Jeff Hatley presented report . 2016 showed increased ridership. Updated on recent fire. The bus route serving Greenland will be discontinued but a van service will be available upon request.

Planning Commission Appointment- Mayor recommended Paula Schoonover to fill the vacant position.

Motion by Bryant, 2 nd by Thornton to appoint Paula Schoonover to planning commission, term expiring December 2020. Motion passes 8-0.

Cantique contract: Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to read Resolution 03-13- 2017A by title only.

Motion passes 8-0. Mr. Wright complied. Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to approve Resolution 03-

13-2017A. Motion passes 8-0.

Sewer Reimbursement: Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Dutton to read Resolution 03-13- 2017B by title only. Motion passes 8-0. Mr. Wright complied. Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to approve Resolution 03-13- 2017B. Motion passes 8-0.

Announcements: ARML meeting June 14-16

Citizens Comments: Dave Karnes questioned future use of acreage across from airport that the city of

Fayetteville.

Motion to adjourn ay 6:42 by Bryant, 2nd by Thornton. Motion passes 8-0.
