Minutes of the Greenland City Council May 08, 2017

Meeting called to order at 6pm. Those in attendance: Mayor Groom, Stephanie Sharp, Eric Bryant, Danny Dutton, Beckey Center, Lisa Thornton, Bill Yoes, Pat Lindabury, Justin Reed, Chief Ricker, Danny Wright and various guests.

Motion by Bryant, 2nd by Thornton to approve the April’s council minutes. Motion passes 7-0.

Motion by Thornton, 2nd by Reed to approve the April’s treasurer’s report. Motion passes 7-0.

Brenda Reynolds presented the planning commission report.

Mayor Groom presented the building inspector report: No activity

Chief Ricker presented the court and police report.

Grant update: Mayor informed council that the toddler playground equipment had been received and we are waiting on the installers. The TAP grant for the walking trail is still perking along. We were turned down on the Parks and Tourism grant for the lights. We will reapply for that in August.

Mutual Aid agreement with West Fork: Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Thornton to read Resolution 05-08-

2017A. Motion passes 7-0. Mr. Wright complied. Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Reed to approve Resolution

05-08- 2017A. Motion passes 7-0.

SRO Contract with Greenland Schools: Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Reed to read Resolution 05-08- 2017B by title only. Motion passes 7-0. Mr. Wright complied. Motion by Dutton, 2nd by Reed to approve

Resolution 05-08- 2017B. Motion passes 7-0.

Mayor reminded council of upcoming special election in June.

Motion to adjourn at 7:03 by Thornton, 2 nd by Bryant. Motion passes 7-0.
