Planning Commission Minutes
Monday, February 6, 2023
Greenland Community Center
170 North Letitia
Meeting called to order 6:00 P.M.

Members Present: Bill Yoes, Hunter Collins, Brenda Reynolds, Michele Cate, Charlotte Carnes, Ben Maddox

1. Public Hearing – M. Faulkenberg, 10194 Fairview Lane, Lot Line Adjustment Request
 Nikki Littrell (owner representative) to present. The request is to adjust a roughly 23-acre parcel to accommodate the removal of roughly one acre. The one acre will be added to an adjacent parcel. The engineer has been asked by the planning commission to provide a full- size plat with legend for future applications. Closed public hearing at 6:07 P.M.

2. M. Faulkenberg, 10194 Fairview Lane, Lot Line Adjustment Request\

The recommendation for lot line approval is in part due to the location of the parcel in the county. No further discussion. Maddox motion to approve. Collins second. Approved 5-0.

3. Code Workshop Notification – scheduled for February 23, 2023.

4. Public Comment –
253 W Bailey – Jay purchased a parcel which is zoned C-1. It has a mobile home on the property. He inquired about replacing the mobile home. He was advised it could not be replaced and the grandfather clause applies to existing structures, not new ones. He in inquired if a house could be built and PC advised the utility of C-1 zoning. Mayor Renfrow asked for his contact information so that communications can occur when inquiries come in about available properties.

Carnes motion to adjourn. Yoes second. Meeting adjourned at 6:17 P.M.
