Planning Commission Meeting Minutes

Commissioners present: Brenda Reynolds, Bill Yoes, Charlotte Carnes, Lee Guthrie, Paula
Schoonover. Called meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

1. Application by Martin Burciaga regarding lot split
Due to a question re: existing structures on the property that would remain as a
2.12-acre parcel, the commission gave provisional approval.
Commission Carnes made a motion, Commissioner Yoes 2 nd , pass 5-0: Provisional approval to allow the lot split. If county agrees that no problem with the two trailers on remaining lot, the lot split can go forward.

2. Review of Greenland Municipal Code Zoning Use Chart

Add a zone for alcoholic beverage sales: C3 permitted, conditional in C1 & C2.
Bars: Conditional in C1, C2, C3
Restaurant use changed to Restaurant-no alcohol sales
Add: Restaurant with alcohol sales, permitted in C3, conditional in C1 & C2.
Add use category: Pool Hall-with alcohol sales, conditional in C1, C2, C3
Appliance Repair changed to Conditional in C1, C2 & C3
Construction Equipment repair, sales & storage changed to Conditional in C3.
Dry cleaning and Dyeing Plant changed conditional C3, permitted Industrial
Farm Equipment Sales & Service, Conditional C2 & C3
Machinery Sales & Service, Conditional C3
Manufacturing Light, Conditional C3, permitted Industrial
Mini Warehouse, Conditional C3, permitted Industrial
Recreational Facilities Commercial, Conditional C1, C2, C3
Utility Facility, Conditional C1, C2, C3, Permitted Industrial
Wholesale Establishment, Conditional C1, C2, C3, Permitted Industrial
